I’m lying here
Thinking of you
In my own little world
Where everything’s okay
Where I’m happy
Where I remember every word you say.

But I know now
We’re not meant to be
You just told me
That I’m not the one you see
As more than a friend.

But there will always be a place for you
In my heart, in my soul
Time can’t change what I’m feeling for you
You can make me whole…

I am heartbroken
It’s not spoken
But it’s there
I am heartbroken
It’s all open
My love is pouring out again.

I’m lying here
In my bed, mind ashore
I’m all alone and I feel
Like nothing matters anymore
I like to think
That things can change.

But I know now
It’s not true
It’s irreversible
But you’re still irresistible
And that’s what hurts.
