Fading Away
Left, in the blink of an eye.
The rush of fatality and loneliness reach me.
Leaving you is like ripping my heart to shreds.
The tears I cry aren’t enough to bring you back to me.
You’re fading away, you’re leaving.
For the time being, I think you’ll come back,
That you’ll wake up and be in my grasp.
I was wrong again…
I wish I wasn’t wrong, but I was.
It hurt, I cried, I screamed,
I was left me in shock.
The shock that you’re gone.
It haunts me;
I wish it was only a nightmare…
But my nightmare was reality.
Tears are the words I couldn’t say,
So my last tear is from my heart.
