I Learned
I learned..that I’m always going to play a silent love song in my heart and no where else….
I learned that i’ll always be missing….and never be able to express it…
I learned that I’m always going to be given the chance to try and try…& i dont get where i want …
I learned that you tear for your loved one when your happy and miss him … when your sad and he’s gone…so your going to tear anyway
I learned that my heart is always going to ache after your abscence and aspire your existance….
I learned that my heart will make me involve it in my everyday stops and sayings
I learned that there was, and still is a deep warm place for you in my heart….
I learned that no matter or how far days take me your always going to be that missing part…that completes my heart..
I learned that the need of your presence…will allow my heart evade lots of sorrows..
I learned that being quiet and calm about your eternal sudden trip is just a deep way of expressing a little of how it hurts…
I learned that i can easily pass a smile to one i meet but cant pass my heart to that smiled at…
I learned that loving you was not a mistake but it only aches!
Today I sit and here i write what i’ve learned by your absence…today i acknowledge that’ll ill never think of you gone..its just a little while before i say goodbye…before i let go ..to search out your soul..
In The Garden
One night in Eden, Adam was
Away from Eve all night.
When he came home next morning
Eve was spoiling for a fight.
He patiently explained that he
Was taking inventory
Of the nocturnal animals.
She didn’t buy his story.
“Who was she?” Eve demanded,
But Adam laughed, “Tee Hee,
Eve, you know there ain’t nobody
Else but you and me!”
“Oh yes, that’s right,” she said, but that
Night, lying by His Nibs,
She quietly sat up and then
Began to count his ribs

Do you remember that day
We first met.
It was plain and simple
Our little conversation.
But then you left
Just walked out the door.
One day you came back
I said hello.
You looked at me and smiled
I still remember that smile.
We became closer friends
I secretly liked you.
After awhile we’d just sit there
I was shy.
There was nothing but silence
My heart was racing.
You told me that you liked me
But much more than just a friend.
I said no
You felt horrible.
I told you I was a bitch
You denied it.
He asked me if I liked him
I said yes but I didn’t want to ruin our friendship.
You told me don’t worry
But I did.
We didn’t talk for a few days
I felt weird.
I apologized to you
You forgave me.
I told you I wanted to try things out
You said yes in an instant.
We sit here together
I hope it will last forever.
then you ask me
“Will you marry me?”

Smiles and his laughter
