This life is broken
With people taken

People come and go
But in the end I’m still cold

I lay here,
Thinking of you.
And all the crap you put me through,
The tears i wasted on you…
I wish I never met you…..

Broken

There was a time
I recklessly became involved in.
Two characters
One boy, One girl.

I was the latter.
Hoping. DARING.
You led me down a path
that was deserted.

Was there no hope?
A fraction of the time..
I believed there was.
In vain.

Why Did You Leave Me?

Why did you leave me?
Why couldn’t you have stayed?
Why do I have to go on,
with only memories we made?
Why do I have to wonder,
at why you had to go?
Why do I lie awake at night?
Why has my heart sunk so low?
Why can I still hear your voice?
And feel your warm embrace?
Why is it, when I close my eyes,
I still see your face?
Please tell me you didn’t go,
Please tell me you are still hear,
Please tell me you are by my side,
to wipe away my tears.
I don’t know how I will go on,
I don’t know what I will do,

Where I’m happy

But I know now

As more than a friend.

I am heartbroken

In my bed, mind ashore

I like to think
That things can change.

But I know now
It’s not true
It’s irreversible
But you’re still irresistible
And that’s what hurts.
