There was a time
I recklessly became involved in.
Two characters
One boy, One girl.

I was the latter.
Hoping. DARING.
You led me down a path
that was deserted.

Was there no hope?
A fraction of the time..
I believed there was.
In vain.

I was broken.
heedlessly crushed, beaten.
I fell apart.

Perhaps,there are reasons.
Perhaps, there is none
Perhaps God planned.
I failed to see the open door.

You’re forgiven.
for rendering my heart to shreds.
I have moved on…Yet…
Upon my heart I carry open wounds.

Why couldn’t you have stayed?
Why do I have to go on,
with only memories we made?
Why do I have to wonder,
at why you had to go?
Why do I lie awake at night?
Why has my heart sunk so low?
Why can I still hear your voice?
And feel your warm embrace?
Why is it, when I close my eyes,
I still see your face?
Please tell me you didn’t go,
Please tell me you are still hear,
Please tell me you are by my side,
to wipe away my tears.
