Why does my mom tell me I’m beautiful when
Everyone else around me tells me I’m not?
I would always ask myself the question, ‘What would happen if I lost her?’

I imagined a lonely, cold world.
I never heard that word again.
But instead I hid in my den.
For everyone called me names and then I opened my eyes.
This world had fed me lies,
The world I imagined wouldn’t go away.

Its a if my mom wanted me to stay.
This world was real. The world I believed was fake was the real deal.
I was never called beautiful again, until I found David.
He saved my life because he called me his beautiful princess.
I began to feel sad less and less.
Until he left my beautiful life, just like my momma took hers with a knife.

I always wonderd Why…..Why wont the Rain fall on me?
Is it because I’m to Dry..?…or is it becouse I’m to wet…
Or is it becouse I’m to shy?…So I look up in the sky and ask …WHY?..
Why wont you rain on me? Why is it all I see is the sun in the sky….
